It emphasized that the destruction of the bridge paralyzes relief operations and disrupts the flow of aid, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis and exposing civilians to further risks as the autumn season approaches, when alternative routes are closed and transport and supply movements become impossible, further complicating the humanitarian situation and intensifying the suffering of the population.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The agency added in a statement: \u201cGiven that it is a vital civilian facility and a key corridor for aid delivery, the targeting of the Ardamata Bridge constitutes a clear violation of the rules of international humanitarian law, which oblige all parties to ensure the protection of civilian objects, particularly those used for humanitarian purposes.
