He noted that rising prices for food, fuel, and fertilizers resulting from the war in the Middle East are exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Hamdok explained that the collapse of the rural economy has worsened poverty and unemployment rates, particularly among young people, making them more vulnerable to recruitment by armed groups and extremism, or to irregular migration.
