Discussions also covered expanding health services across various parts of the Kordofan region.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Dr. Alaa Nugud stressed that the current situation in Kordofan, as an active conflict zone, should not hinder the delivery of healthcare services to citizens. He noted that the ministry continues to contact health personnel there to provide services in stable areas, both near and far from frontlines, while prioritizing urgent health needs and addressing existing gaps.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The Minister praised the efforts of civilian health administrations and highlighted plans to increase spending on the health sector through the Peace Government\u2019s budget and local administrations in order to support medical services and improve their performance across all areas.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">For her part, Ms. Maria Rosaria Bruno commended the effective coordination between the Ministry of Health and humanitarian organizations, as well as the positive results that have begun to emerge from these efforts. She emphasized the importance of continued cooperation to expand humanitarian operations, particularly with ongoing discussions with the National Humanitarian Access Authority about last decisions.
