{"id":33439,"date":"2026-03-26T21:52:25","date_gmt":"2026-03-26T19:52:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rhinosd.net\/?p=33439"},"modified":"2026-03-26T21:52:25","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T19:52:25","slug":"port-sudan-accuses-musaad-pauls-of-misleading-the-public-after-he-condemned-the-armys-massacre-in-al-deain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rhinosd.net\/?p=33439&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Port Sudan Accuses Musaad Pauls of Misleading the Public After He Condemned the Army\u2019s Massacre in Al-Deain"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Khartoum: Rhino \u2013 The Port Sudan Foreign Ministry accused the Senior Advisor to the U.S. President for Arab and African Affairs, Musad Pauls, of making statements that \u201cmisled local and international public opinion and undermined efforts to achieve peace and stability in the country,\u201d referring to Pauls\u2019 condemnation of the army\u2019s drone strike on Al-Da\u2019ein Hospital, which killed approximately 64 civilians, wounded dozens, and destroyed the emergency department.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the U.S. adviser\u2019s remarks \u201cseriously undermined the chances of ending the war and achieving peace and stability in Sudan,\u201d and accused him of \u201cclear bias against the Sudanese Armed Forces.\u201d<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Masad Pauls, the U.S. President\u2019s Senior Advisor for Arab and African Affairs, had said that the airstrike carried out by the Sudanese Armed Forces on the Al-Da\u2019ein Teaching Hospital in East Darfur State, which killed at least 64 people and injured nearly 100 others, was a horrific act.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Paul added in a post on the X platform: \u201cThis vital hospital is now rendered inoperable, depriving innocent civilians of life-saving medical care. Since April 2023, more than 2,000 people have been killed in over 200 attacks on medical facilities\u2014facilities that should never be targeted.
