At least 77 civilians have been killed by drone strikes in the states of Kordofan over the past ten days.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">&#8220;On Wednesday, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker T\u00fcrk expressed grave concern following reports that more than 50 civilians were killed in drone strikes in Sudan over two days last week.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">According to the UN, at least 57 civilians, including at least 15 children, were killed between Sunday and Monday in separate drone attacks in four Sudanese states.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Turk said the killings were a reminder of the devastating consequences of drone warfare in Sudan, where civilians and civilian infrastructure are being targeted.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The UN added that 28 civilians were killed on Sunday in a drone strike allegedly carried out by the Sudanese army on the Al-Safia market in Sudri, North Kordofan state.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The following day, 26 civilians were killed in West Kordofan state in a suspected army strike on a shelter for displaced persons in the Sinut area.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Tork said: \u201cThe ongoing attacks by all parties on civilian objects must stop.
