{"id":28425,"date":"2025-09-29T20:04:47","date_gmt":"2025-09-29T18:04:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rhinosd.net\/?p=28425"},"modified":"2025-09-29T20:04:47","modified_gmt":"2025-09-29T18:04:47","slug":"khartoum-governor-fares-al-nour-declares-state-of-health-emergency-in-the-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rhinosd.net\/?p=28425&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Khartoum Governor Fares al-Nour declares state of health emergency in the city"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Nyala: Rhino \u2013 The governor of Khartoum in the Government of Peace and Unity, fares al-Nour, declared a state of health emergency in the capital \u201cas of yesterday, Sunday, until further notice.\u201d \u201cTo ensure the mobilization of resources and coordination of efforts to face the imminent danger,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Al-Nour called on the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Committee of the Red Cross, and all humanitarian and relief organizations to intervene immediately by sending specialized medical teams, field hospitals, essential medicines, and health supplies to combat epidemics and stop their spread.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">In a press statement on Sunday, the governor of Khartoum said that the decision was based on their constitutional and humanitarian responsibility towards the citizens of Khartoum state, and in view of the increasing reports of outbreaks of epidemics and dangerous diseases, especially dengue fever, which threatens the lives of millions, with the almost complete collapse of local health capacities.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">He appealed to the United Nations and the international community to provide urgent financial, logistical, and technical support to prevent a large-scale humanitarian disaster.
