According to the report, this influence overshadows the role of the civilian government and is exercised by the brother of the Sovereign Council President, lawyer Hassan al-Burhan.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">According to Africa Intelligence, the day after his appointment as the new Minister of Mining, Nour al-Daim Taha received an unexpected visit from Hassan al-Burhan, who came to discuss mining policies with him, in a move that the report considered an indication that al-Burhan would not leave the civilian government any say in this strategic issue.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Various reports indicate that Hassan al-Burhan manages his personal interests in the mining sector, benefiting from facilities provided to him by his brother.
