It confirmed that the attack did not target any military sites, but rather that the two schools targeted had been used as shelters for displaced persons since the outbreak of armed conflict in the country. <\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The statement noted that this bombing came less than a month after a previous airstrike targeted a girls&#8217; secondary school in the same city, reflecting a recurring pattern of targeting civilians and vital facilities.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"> The statement described the incident as a \u201cdocumented war crime.\u201d<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The Emergency Room expressed its strong condemnation of what it described as a \u201crepeated campaign against civilians,\u201d stressing that these attacks are not based on any military justification and constitute a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
