Rhino: Agencies – Sudanese Revolutionary Front spokesman Osama Saeed stressed the need to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the crimes committed during the war period and hold those responsible accountable, saying that national motives are what drove the new government, stressing the Front’s commitment to achieving justice and reconciliation in the country<\/span><\/h1>\n

Saeed pointed out during his talk to Al-Hadath channel that the (constitutional) document that was signed by a group of parties in Sudan is a prominent step towards achieving peace and political settlement, pointing out that the Sudanese people face grave challenges that threaten their national unity as the war entered its third year in light of unprecedented human suffering<\/span><\/h1>\n

Saeed emphasized that since the beginning of the conflict, our position has been consistent and clear: We are against the war. Despite the efforts made to achieve peace, there are still those who obstruct these endeavors, which leads to a worsening of the situation, indicating that the option we adhere to is peace and not the division of the country, as we believe that unity is the only way out of this crisis.<\/span><\/h1>\n

He explained that all the signatory parties, including the RSF, have responded positively to the efforts made to achieve peace. Saeed pointed to their permanent commitment to peace while emphasizing the need to protect civilians and prosecute perpetrators of war crimes, stressing that the document does not grant any party that committed violations an acquittal.<\/span><\/h1>\n

Saeed addressed the issue of protecting civilians and holding criminals accountable, noting that the conflict has greatly affected large categories of the Sudanese people, especially civilians, who are considered the main victims, and expressed their support for the establishment of an international fact-finding committee, calling for the need to hold criminals accountable and bring them to justice in order to achieve just punishments for anyone who contributes to racist or behavioral influence projects that threaten human dignity, pointing to the multiple challenges facing peace efforts, including the spread of terrorist groups that seek to transform the conflict into a sectarian conflict, which increases insecurity in the country and emphasizes the need to take quick measures.<\/span><\/h1>\n

Said stressed the need to establish a legitimate government capable of assuming its responsibilities in reducing tensions and achieving peace in the country, noting that the current situation following the October 25 coup led to the absence of a recognized government, which calls for a comprehensive political process aimed at achieving lasting stability in Sudan.<\/span><\/h1>\n

In the context of talking about the future of Sudan, Saeed stressed that the option of peace is the most important and safest option and explained that all parties must work towards achieving national interests and not allow terrorism and terrorists to negatively affect security and the social fabric. He stressed that the Sudanese people will be able to regain their unique identity and civilization if a comprehensive peace is reached.<\/span><\/h1>\n

He explained that working for peace and development is the only way towards a better future for Sudan where everyone can live in safety and dignity. He added that Sudan is facing serious challenges since the coup that took place on (October 25) and explained that the struggle for legitimacy has become the main driver of events in the country as it suffers from political chaos and an ongoing war that leads to a state of instability. In this context, Saeed pointed out the importance of establishing a legitimate government that reflects the will of the Sudanese people and meets their aspirations This absence led to the spread of political chaos as various justifications are used by those in power to maintain their positions, which negatively reflected on security and stability in the country and that citizens are suffering the repercussions of this situation as economic and social crises increase as a result of the absence of effective leadership He said that the conflict over the legitimacy of governance in Sudan with the presence of forces seeking to control the country by force, ignoring the voice of the people and explained that (Burhan) is trying to turn the conflict into a battle to prove his legitimacy but faces great challenges in light of the growing distrust by citizens This dynamic reflects a state of tension and anxiety in Sudanese society.<\/span><\/h1>\n

Osama Saeed stressed that there is a growing concern about the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood organization on the ongoing conflict in Sudan and explained that the organization seeks to impose its own vision on Sudanese society by supporting the continuation of the conflict, which poses a threat to national and regional security, pointing out that this organization represents a direct danger to the stability of the country as it clearly seeks to return to power at the expense of the sacrifices made by martyrs for the freedom of Sudan, stressing the importance of the role of the Sudanese people in determining the future of their country, indicating that the glorious revolution that broke out in December showed a strong desire from citizens to reject the rule of (Muslim Brotherhood), which reflects the voice of the people.<\/span><\/h1>\n

Saeed said that the challenges facing Sudan require unity among all national forces in order to confront the dangers posed by the Muslim Brotherhood and stressed the need for collective action to achieve stability and development, pointing out that the Sudanese people deserve a better future free from the chaos and conflicts that hinder the country’s progress.<\/span><\/h1>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
