It said the arrests were aimed at preventing \u2018disturbing public order\u2019 and warned that the authorities would not tolerate \u2018chaos and provocation\u2019.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Tens of thousands of Turks have been taking to the streets in mostly peaceful protests since Wednesday, when Imam oglu was detained on charges such as corruption and aiding a terrorist group.
