Rhino: Agencies – The draw for the preliminary rounds of the African Champions League for the new season 2024-2025 resulted in exciting Arab clashes, as well as strong confrontations for Arab teams.<\/span><\/h1>\n

Defending champions Al Ahly of Egypt are looking forward to facing the winner of Al Merrikh of South Sudan and Jormahia of Kenya, while Esperance of Tunisia, runner-up of the last edition, will play against the winner of Dikidaha of Somalia and Arta Solar of Djibouti, the champion of Djibouti.<\/span><\/h1>\n

Egypt’s Pyramids will play GK Champion of Zanzibar in the preliminary round and will face the winner of Army of Rwanda and Azam of Tanzania.<\/span><\/h1>\n

“Moroccan league champions Raja will start their campaign in the preliminary round against Niger’s National Guard and will play the winner of Ghana’s Samartex and Cameroon’s Victoria United if they qualify for the round of 32.<\/span><\/h1>\n

Morocco’s Royal Army will open their campaign against Nigeria’s Remo Stars in the preliminary round, which will see an Arab clash between Sudan’s Al Merrikh and Libya’s yet-to-be-determined league champions.<\/span><\/h1>\n

The round of 32 could see a new Arab clash if the Royal Army qualifies, which will face the winner of the meeting between Al-Merrikh and the Libyan league champion.<\/span><\/h1>\n

Mouloudia Algeria will play Liberia’s Watanga in the preliminary round and will meet the winner of the meeting between Tunisia’s Etihad Monastir and Chad’s PSI, while Sudan’s Al Hilal will play the runners-up of the Libyan league in the preliminary round, and the winner will play against the winner of San Pedro of Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone’s Rangers.<\/span><\/h1>\n

Algeria’s Shabab Belouzidad will face Congo’s Leopard in the first round and will meet the winner of Benin’s Al-Qattan and Burkina Faso’s Douane. Mauritania’s Nouadhibou will face Mali’s Melo in the first round, and if they qualify, they will meet the winner of Ivory Coast’s Stade Abidjan and Senegal’s Tongit.<\/span><\/h1>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
