Equatorial Guinea beat Malawi in World Cup qualifiers

Rhino: Agencies – Equatorial Guinea beat Malawi 1/0, on Monday, in the fourth round of Group E of Africa’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers in America, Mexico and Canada.

Ivan Salvador scored the only goal of the match for Equatorial Guinea in the 81st minute.

Equatorial Guinea earned their first three points in the group, placing them in fifth place (penultimate), while Sao Tome and Principe are bottom of the standings with no points.

On the other hand, Malawi’s tally stands at six points in fourth place, one behind third-placed Liberia, two behind second-placed Namibia, and four behind leaders Tunisia.
