Al Junainah – Rhino: The state of West Darfur confirmed the continuation of surgical operations free of charge for all the injured security events, by a foreign medical team affiliated with the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The Director General of the Ministry of Health in the state of West Darfur, Dr. “Abdulsalam Mustafa Saleh”, that the foreign medical team has so far managed to perform more than 300 orthopedic surgeries for free, for war casualties. He added that the medical team spent three months at El Geneina Hospital to treat the injured, and that operations are still ongoing.

The Director General of the Ministry of Health pointed out that the International Committee of the Red Cross provided significant medical assistance to the state, represented in medicines and medical equipment, in addition to the payment of financial aid to medical staff.
