Rhino: Agencies – The Coordination of Civil Democratic Forces “Taqaddam” welcomed the call of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt to hold a conference for Sudanese political and civilian forces on the 6th and 7th of July in Cairo to discuss the issues of stopping the war, addressing the humanitarian crisis and ways to prepare for the peaceful path to resolve the crisis, and in this context we express our thanks and appreciation to the Arab Republic of Egypt for this effort to advance the steps to end the war in Sudan,” Taqaddam said in a statement on Monday.

The Coordination said in a statement on Monday that its welcome to the conference comes within the framework of its tireless endeavor to contribute to the efforts to achieve peace in Sudan, and announced its acceptance of the invitation to participate in the conference, to contribute seriously to the search for ways to end the armed conflict and establish sustainable peace in Sudan.

The statement reads: “The components of Taqaddam will work to priorities addressing the overwhelming humanitarian disaster suffered by our people inside the country and in the areas of displacement and asylum, and will present their visions on how to accelerate efforts to peacefully resolve the conflict in Sudan.”
