Sudan beat South Sudan 3-0 in 2026 World Cup qualifiers

Juba: Rhino – Sudan’s first national football team defeated South Sudan by a clean sheet on Tuesday evening, as part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The stadium in the South Sudanese capital, Juba, hosted the match between South Sudan and Sudan today, as part of the fourth round of Group B, in the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Walidin Khadir opened the scoring for Sudan in the 45th minute and Yasser Muzammil added the second goal for the visitors in the 51st minute.

Mohamed Abdulrahman Youssef rounded off the scoring for Sudan in the 78th minute.

With this result, Sudan jumped to the top of the Group B table with 10 points.

Meanwhile, South Sudan’s score stood at two points in fifth place in the Group B standings.
