Rhino: Agencies – France, Germany and Britain on Wednesday welcomed a resolution adopted by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors calling on Iran to step up co-operation.
‘We hope that Iran will take this opportunity to resolve these existing issues so that no further action from the Board is needed,’ the three European countries said in a joint statement sent to reporters by the French Foreign Ministry.
‘Iran must co-operate with the IAEA and provide credible technical explanations,’ the statement added.
The IAEA Board of Governors consists of 35 member states.
