The political vision of TAGADOM emphasizes the importance of establishing a unified professional army

Addis Ababa: Rhino – The founding conference of the Coordination of Civil Democratic Forces (Taqaddam) approved on Wednesday the political vision of the Coordination, which emphasized the need to stop and end the war, establish the state with a civil and democratic system of government, and complete the tasks of the revolution.

Taqaddam’s political vision stressed the importance of preserving the unity of Sudan’s people and territory, establishing a civil and democratic state that stands at the same distance from religions, identities and cultures, where equal citizenship is the basis for rights and duties and the state’s recognition of historical and contemporary diversity.

The vision insisted on establishing and building a military and security system in accordance with national interests and international standards, a federal system of government based on the recognition of the right of regions to manage their affairs, as well as launching a comprehensive process of justice and transitional justice and accountability for all crimes since 1989 until the current war, opening humanitarian paths and establishing mechanisms to protect civilians, and returning displaced persons under the supervision of a peace mission.

The vision of the Coordination of Civil Forces emphasized the need to identify the parties to the political process and not to drown it with manufactured facades and to prevent the National Congress and the Islamic Movement from being rewarded for igniting the war.
