Rhino: Agencies – A Real Madrid star has been given the chance to become a coach in his country’s national team’s technical staff during Euro 2024.
Austria’s David Alaba is suffering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and will therefore not play for the club during the current season, nor will he play for his country at the Euros.
According to the Spanish network ‘Relivo’, Austrian coach Ralf Rangnick has offered Alaba to be part of his coaching staff during the Euros.
The Spanish network indicated that Alaba is likely to accept the proposal, as he felt happy and grateful for the opportunity that Rangnick gave him.
Alaba should return to action at the start of the new season with Real Madrid 2024-2025, although his place in the starting line-up is not certain, due to the brilliance of Antonio Rüdiger, and Eder Militao is close to full readiness after recovering from injury
