Rhino: Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry told his US counterpart Anthony Blinken on Monday that the continuation of Israeli military operations in Gaza, especially in Rafah, carries serious security risks.
In a phone call with Blinken, Shoukry also emphasised the need to resume aid deliveries to Gaza after they discussed Israel’s control of the Palestinian side of the Rafah border crossing, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Shoukry also stressed the need to restore aid deliveries to Gaza, which had been halted in recent days, the statement said.
