Rhino: Agencies – Deputy Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah group Naim Qassem said on Tuesday that the group has decided on “a new equation called the equation of hurting the enemy,” referring to Israel, and added that the solution is a ceasefire. Qassem said in a televised address: “I say to the Israeli home front the solution is a ceasefire; we are not speaking from a position of weakness. If the Israeli does not want to, we will continue,” Qassem said in a televised address. He added that residents in northern Israel would be able to return home after a ceasefire is reached through an indirect agreement. But he threatened to displace more Israelis if the war continues, saying, “As the war continues, uninhabited settlements will increase and hundreds of thousands, even more than two million, will be in danger at any time, any hour, any day, do not believe what your officials say about our capabilities, look with your own eyes at your army’s dead and wounded.” He added that since Israel targeted all of Lebanon, “we have the right, from a defensive position, to target any point in the Israeli enemy’s entity.”
