Rhino: Khartoum, The Rapid Support Forces said on Sunday evening that they had destroyed a military convoy on the outskirts of the Al-Faw area in Kassala State, inflicting heavy casualties on the enemy, including hundreds of dead, captured and wounded.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Rapid Support Forces said that they had seized a large number of military equipment from the army forces, including 67 armored vehicles with all their military equipment, burning about twenty armored vehicles, destroying two tanks, and capturing three tanks.

The statement said:(The epic that the heroes wrote today is added to the series of heroic epics towards salvation from the Burhan gang and militia, and the terrorist elements of the defunct regime, and their followers of mercenary movements, and opening another way to build the Sudanese state on new and just foundations that achieve equality between all Sudanese peoples, who have lived through ages of injustice and tyranny).

It added:(We warned the mercenaries of the movements against any attempt to enter the fire of this war, but they did not heed the advice, until they tasted the bitterness of defeat and betrayal today at the hands of the heroes of our brave forces who taught them lessons in courage and daring).
