Final Statement of the Coordination Body of the Democratic and Civil Forces

Rhino: Khartoum, the conclusion of the meeting of (TAGADOM) leadership body:

 Support the outputs of the March 23 meeting called by Dr. ABDALLA HAMDOOK is a group of Sudanese civilian local actors who have agreed to set up a humanitarian coordination task force.

Pressure on warring parties to open and secure routes to deliver humanitarian aid and provide protection to international and local humanitarian workers.

Urging the international community to respond effectively to provide commitments to mitigate the effects of the humanitarian crisis in the Sudan, including financing the agricultural season. In this context, we welcome the Paris Conference to be held on 15 April to address the humanitarian crisis and provide the necessary resources.

Appeal to the direct and regional neighbouring countries to facilitate the procedures of entry and access to residencies for Sudanese and Reconciling their situation with respect to (treatment, education, employment).

Establishing an appropriate mechanism in coordination with international organizations working in the field of education in times of crisis to address the problem of the loss of the academic year in general and university level in a manner that ensures maximum utilization both in the field of both classes and geography, including the sharpening of local capacities as much as possible.

The establishment of a delegation from (TAGADOUM) to visit Sudanese refugee camps in neighbouring countries to determine their situation and needs and to communicate with these countries in order to facilitate the situation of Sudanese.
