Hamdok discusses with the chairperson of the African Union Commission ways to stop the war in Sudan

Addis Ababa – Rhino: The chairperson of the Commanding Body of the Coordination of the Democratic and Civil Forces (TAGADOM), the former Prime Minister, Dr. Abdullah Hamdok met in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, yesterday on Monday accompanied by a delegation from the coordination with the chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki.

“Hamdok” said in a statement on his account in (X) platform on Monday, that the coordination delegation stressed during the meeting the importance of tight coordination between all regional and international initiatives, and drew attention to the gravity of the humanitarian disaster in Sudan, and the need to raise the regional and international response to address the urgent needs of millions of Sudanese who were affected by the April 15th war.

He added: “The chairperson of the African Union Commission stressed that he pays special attention to the Sudanese issue, and will intensify regional and international communication to accelerate efforts to reach a peaceful solution in Sudan, and stressed the importance of the civilian role in ending the war, and silencing the sound of guns in Sudan”.
