The Sudanese government calls on Saudi mediation to exclude IGAD representatives from Jeddah negotiations platform

Rhino – Agencies: ASharq News Foundation said on Monday that the Sudanese government has asked the Saudi mediation to exclude representatives of the “IGAD” from the Jeddah negotiations platform.

Asharq News Foundation published on its official page in (X) platform on Monday about its sources: (The Sudanese government asked the Saudi mediation to exclude representatives of the “IGAD” from the Jeddah negotiations platform).

The Sudanese army delegation had earlier withdrawn from the “Jeddah negotiations Platform”, and expressed its welcome to the mediation of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), before rejecting it against the IGAD receiving of the commander of the Rapid Support Forces as part of IGAD efforts to end the crisis.

Observers and politicians agreed and said to Rhino that: “the move according to the statements and way army commanders have dealt with the efforts resolve the crisis peacefully since the outbreak of the war – is nothing more than a procrastination and an attempt to buy time, in the hope that the army will advance at the field level, “perhaps for better negotiating terms”.
