Rapid Support Forces: The statements of Burhan confirmed the continuation of the war

khartoum: Rhino – The member of the advisory office of the commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Issa Al-Kouni, said to “Arab World News Agency” on Tuesday that there is no horizon for any peaceful solution to Sudan crisis. He added, that “there is no stability in Sudan currently, and we do not see a close detent in the crisis, because the army does not want peace, does not want to stop the bloodshed, and does not want a solution in the first place,” citing a statement by the army commander in which he said that “there’s no peace with those people,” referring to the Rapid Support Forces.

Al-Gouni added that the statements of the army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan indicate that the war is ongoing and will not stop. He continued: (We see a bleak future for Sudan in the presence of these criminals, but we are able to eliminate them, and we will not leave one of them, unless we delined for peace), stressing that the Rapid Support Forces were counting on the negotiations held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to reach a peaceful solution to the Sudanese crisis.

He also added: “We had come a long way, and before signing the commitments, the army and its Islamist leaders refused to sign, the same thing happened with IGAD’s initiative they later rejected it. The military always tries to create crises over crises, and then its commander says “there is no solution with these people (RSF)”! The only solution is the military solution, they do not know peace, they do not want peace, and they are the ones who ignited this war”.

He concluded his speech by saying: (If the army’s objective of the war is not achieved, the war will not stop, and even if they are defeated militarily, they will turn into “dark suicide criminal gangs”, so should not be distracted us with the talks as a waste of time, and those people do not know the peaceful solution, they only know the war).
