Rhino: The U.S. State Department announced the inclusion of the Ansar Allah movement, known as the Houthis, on the list of foreign terrorist organizations.

The US State Department said in a statement on Tuesday: “The actions taken by the US State Department reflect the commitment of President Donald Trump’s administration to protect national security interests, the safety of Americans, and the security of the United States.”

The statement added: “Designations play a critical role in the U.S. fight against terrorism and are an effective means of reducing support for terrorist activities.”
