Omar added in a Facebook post: “Al-Safana has not submitted to the state and its authority; on the contrary, he views Burhan’s government as nothing more than a group of ‘petty beggars,’ and claims he ‘is in a better position than them.’ Al-Safna revealed that he does not receive money from Burhan’s government, but rather from external sources. So what sovereignty, what national security, and what rejection of foreign interference are the deceitful liars in the “Preservation of the State” camp talking about?!)

He continued: “Now the truth has come to light, and the naked truth of the war camp has been exposed. It is a full-fledged criminal war that has brought nothing but ruin to our country. It is not a war for dignity or sovereignty, but a purely authoritarian project through which the military and the terrorist Islamic movement seek to tighten their grip on the country, indifferent to the tragedies the people are enduring as a result of this fighting, and to the squandering of the state’s sovereignty and integrity; not a hair on their heads trembles as they trample the dignity of Sudan and its people into the dust“.

He added: “The duty to stop this war begins with stripping it of any legitimacy and confronting anyone who seeks to prolong it. Remaining silent about this injustice or aligning oneself with it is complicity in the crime that is devastating our country and our patient, afflicted people”.
