Khartoum: Rhino – The Sudan Founding alliance has accused the army and the Muslim Brotherhood of closely cooperating with the Nigerian group Boko Haram and other terrorist groups, following an attack by Boko Haram on Chadian army positions in the Lake Chad region.
In a statement, the alliance noted that the attack represents terrorism crossing geographical borders and threatening the security of the region and its peoples, warning that the connection between political and religious terrorist groups poses the greatest threat to our peoples and their stability. It pointed to close cooperation between the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood and its military wing in Sudan with these terrorist groups, adding that “reports indicate the recent attack was coordinated between Khartoum and Tripoli.
The alliance’s official spokesperson revealed an “unannounced meeting” held in June 2023 in Nigeria between a delegation of seven leaders from the Muslim Brotherhood’s military wing in Sudan and leaders from Boko Haram, noting that it was uncovered, following which the Sudanese terrorist leaders were deported from Nigeria.
TASIS Alliance” asserted that “all evidence and the course of the war in Sudan indicate a close link between these groups and their participation in fighting alongside the criminal army in Sudan,” accusing “the terrorist army and its Islamic group of providing assistance to these organizations outside Sudan.”
The alliance declared its solidarity with the Republic of Chad and its readiness for “unlimited cooperation with the regional and international communities to eliminate terrorism and dry up its sources.”
