Khartoum: Rhino – The Rapid Support Forces condemned on Monday the targeting of civilians by the army’s warplanes in a number of Sudanese cities, adding in a statement on Monday: “In continuation of the series of genocidal crimes; the warplanes of the Burhan militia continued, on Monday, their frenzied raids against defenseless citizens, committing new massacres by targeting the Kabkabiya market in North Darfur, the machine of death and destruction claimed the lives of more than 30 civilians on the spot, and the systematic bombing operations under the orders of the butcher Burhan and his gang of terrorists left about 50 wounded innocents during their daily lives.
The statement continued: “On the other hand, the air force carried out air strikes by dropping barrel bombs on residential neighborhoods in Umm Rawaba, and dozens of women and children were killed as a result of the treacherous aggression against citizens. Our forces condemn the genocidal campaigns, denounce the targeting of civilians in locations devoid of military objectives, and warn of the consequences of systematic reprisals against social components under the pretext that they represent incubators for the RSF.
The RSF emphasized that it has sufficient evidence of the involvement of external parties in participating alongside the Islamic Movement in a plan for genocide in Sudan, calling on Sudanese to be vigilant and pay attention to the Islamic Movement’s “terrorist” plans.
The RSF concluded its statement by saying: “We renew our pledge to our people to move forward in defending the rights of all Sudanese until the restoration of national sovereignty and the liberation of the armed forces from the grip of the generals in Port Sudan.
