Rhino: Agencies – A Sudanese army drone attacked a United Nations World Food Program warehouse in the famine-stricken city of Kadugli in South Kordofan state on Wednesday, according to eyewitnesses from the city who spoke to RAINO.
A UN source told Agence France-Presse today that a drone bombed a World Food Program warehouse in Kadugli on Wednesday, causing damage to the building and losses in stored food supplies, without specifying who was behind the attack.
For its part, the Sudanese Founding Alliance condemned what it described as “the bombing and destruction of World Food Program buildings in Kadugli, South Kordofan state,” which resulted from the army’s air strike on the facility.
The coalition added in a statement today: “The crimes of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood army continue in this war, as army militias today targeted World Food Program buildings in the city of Kadugli with a strategic march, resulting in the destruction of the program’s buildings. The continuation of this deception, misinformation, and these crimes in full view of the international community is an incentive for these criminals to continue these violations and abuses.”
The statement said: “The regional and international communities must cut off these terrorists and confront them with all political, diplomatic, and military means, because that is the only way to end the suffering of the Sudanese people and stop this war.”
