Head of the Civil Democratic Alliance of Revolutionary Forces “Sumoud” Former Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdok
Rhino: Agencies – The chairman of the Civil Democratic Alliance of Revolutionary Forces (Sumud), Dr. Abdullah Hamdok, said that there were forces that had bet on the failure of the consultative meeting of anti-war forces and on the impossibility of uniting civilians at this stage, emphasizing that this meeting and its outcomes served as a practical and clear response to all those who had bet on the division of civilians and their inability to work together.
At the conclusion of the consultations in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, Hamdok emphasized that there is no military solution to the Sudanese crisis, pledging to continue working diligently and tirelessly to stop the war and restore the civilian track.
The head of the Sumud Alliance explained that engagement with the regional community is an urgent necessity, noting that efforts and communications with neighboring countries and the region have never ceased. He added that, prior to the outbreak of the war, the civilian government had worked to end Sudan’s international isolation and had achieved significant breakthroughs in this regard; however, all these efforts and gains came to an end following the coup on October 25.
