Khartoum: Rhino – A source from the Rapid Support Forces revealed to Rhino on Wednesday that the army’s warplanes bombed the famous Friendship Hall in the Sudanese capital Khartoum.
The source added: “In a desperate attempt to prevent the announcement of the formation of the new government, Al-Burhan’s militia targeted the Friendship Hall by bombing, in a move that reflects the state of panic over any new political arrangements that may threaten their grip on power.”
He wondered: “Has bombing and destruction become their only means of silencing any change? How long will they continue to target civilian facilities to abort any attempt at a political solution?”
