Khartoum: Rhino – The Chairman of the Presidential Council of the Founding Government, Lieutenant General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, issued a decision appointing the Chief Justice and his deputy, as stipulated in Decision No. 4 of 2026.

The decree stipulates the appointment of Idris al-Nour Shalu Komni as Chief Justice and Babiker Abkar Adam Abd al-Nour as his deputy, with the decree taking effect on April 12, 2026.

The appointments were approved in accordance with the provisions of the 2025 Transitional Constitution and based on the recommendation of the Provisional Judicial Council.
