Rhino: Agencies – The Civil Democratic Coalition of Revolutionary Forces “Sumud” condemned the assassination of the late Osama Hassan, chairman of the Democratic Alliance for Social Justice Party and a member of the leadership body of the Sudan Founding Coalition “Tasis,” who was assassinated at his home in Nyala in a drone strike carried out by the Sudanese Armed Forces.

The coalition added in a statement: “We condemn this criminal act, which constitutes the political assassination of an unarmed civilian, plunging the country’s political landscape into an even darker abyss and deepening the spiral of violence and death ravaging the nation.”

It continued: “We extend our condolences to the family of the deceased, his acquaintances, and his comrades in the Sudan Founding Alliance. We pray for mercy and forgiveness for him, and we hope that this criminality plaguing our country will end soon, and that the language of peace and dialogue will replace the sounds of guns and the drums of war that have brought about destruction”.
