Head of the Civil Democratic Alliance of Revolutionary Forces “Sumoud” Former Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdok
Khartoum: Rhino – Former Sudanese Prime Minister and Chairman of the “Sumoud” Alliance, Abdullah Hamdok, sent written messages on Monday to the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, expressing his solidarity with them in the face of ongoing Iranian attacks and warning of the repercussions of the escalation on the region’s security and stability.
Hamdok stated that the sons and daughters of Sudan stand with their sister nations as they make efforts to repel the “sinful aggression,” emphasizing that continued escalation poses a serious threat to regional security and increases the likelihood of instability in the region.
He noted the “Sumoud” coalition’s support for the Gulf states’ calls for an immediate halt to the escalation, while stressing the importance of prioritizing wisdom, dialogue, and diplomatic means to address the region’s crises and preserve regional security and peace.
