South Kordofan: Rhino – Tasis forces announced that on Monday morning they regained control of the Kiga Jaro and Al-Kwik garrisons, located on the strategic road linking the cities of Dilling and Kadugli, noting that army forces and allied militias fled towards the city of Kadugli after suffering heavy losses.
It added: “The operation is part of the field movements that took place in the Dilling axis yesterday, Sunday, which resulted in field advances in a number of locations.”
The recapture of the Kiga and Al-Kwik garrisons enabled the TASIS alliance forces to reposition themselves in vital areas and tighten their grip on the roads through which the army had previously infiltrated Dalang and Kadugli.
