Rhino: Agencies – General Fernando Arias, head of the United Nations Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, said in statements to the AFP agency that it is reprehensible and inhumane for the Sudanese army not to disclose the areas and neighborhoods where it used prohibited chemical weapons as part of its professional responsibilities towards citizens.
He added, “We announce with deep regret that the army has used these weapons in 13 neighborhoods of the capital, most of which have high-rise buildings, and citizens must clearly not return to them at all in order to preserve their lives.
