El Fasher: Rhino – The Higher Committee for the Reestablishment and Planning of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society announced that it has begun receiving reports at its North Darfur branch office as part of a family reunification program, giving families new hope of finding their lost loved ones.

The program works to reunite families, search for missing persons, care for unaccompanied children, and track the conditions of elderly people who have lost contact with their families within the city. It is one of the most important humanitarian bridges implemented by the Sudanese Red Crescent.

The committee confirmed that its field teams have begun working on the ground in an organized, humane manner to ensure that the service reaches every family seeking a link to their loved ones, given the humanitarian conditions in El Fasher.
