Rhino: Agencies – The Rapid Support Forces announced on Tuesday that they had shot down a military drone of the type Breikdar Aganji in the skies over Babanusa in West Kordofan state.

Rapid Support Forces soldiers posted videos on social media showing the wreckage of the drone.

The Rapid Support Forces have made rapid progress inside the city of Babanusa in West Kordofan state over the past two days, following fierce battles, according to a military source quoted by Al-Jamaheer newspaper on Tuesday.

According to the source, Rapid Support Forces have advanced into Babanusa over the past two days, taking control of the Al-Salam neighborhood, just two kilometers from the 22nd Infantry Division gate in the city, after fierce fighting.

The source revealed that the artillery and march systems of the Rapid Support Forces had completely neutralized a large part of the 22nd Infantry Division’s artillery and advanced defenses, facilitating the advance of the attacking forces to reach the vicinity of the military division.

The source confirmed that dozens of army fighters and allied militias were killed in the recent battles, including high-ranking officers, after being targeted by artillery shelling that led to heavy losses in their ranks.
