The Sudanese Agency for Relief and Humanitarian Operations announce its full readiness to cooperate in facilitating immediate and urgent humanitarian access to those affected by the war in the city of El Fasher, North Darfur State, which has recently witnessed an escalation in conflict resulting in the Rapid Support Forces taking control of the area.

The Sudanese Agency urges international and national organizations, as well as all humanitarian partners, to mobilize resources and intensify efforts to deliver urgent food and medical assistance to civilians in El Fasher. This support aims to restore normalcy, alleviate the suffering of the population, and ensure the provision of basic living requirements.

The Agency reaffirms its commitment to securing the delivery of aid and enabling organizations to carry out their humanitarian missions without obstacles. This will be achieved through coordination with partners to ensure the flow of food and medical supplies to those affected by the conflict throughout North Darfur State.
