In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Rapid Support Forces
October 12, 2025
We followed with surprise and astonishment the statements made by the US President’s Advisor on African Affairs, Mr. Masad Pauls, and some regional partners in the “Peaceful Solution to End the Sudanese Crisis” initiative, which held our forces responsible for what it described as attacks targeting a shelter in the city of El Fasher in North Darfur.
Our forces strongly condemn the rush to condemn our forces based on information from a single source and the continuation of a policy of “double standards.” This is evident when looking at the course of military operations in El Fasher, where we can confidently confirm that the city is free of civilians, with the exception of military pockets of elements of the so-called popular resistance and elements of the terrorist regime, who use hospitals and mosques as military barracks and rocket launch pads, exploiting them to launch their attacks. Then, through orchestrated schemes, they try to spread false accusations that our forces are targeting civilian objects.
In this regard, we draw attention to the record of heinous crimes committed by the hijacked army, its allies, and its minions against civilians in Darfur, including deadly drone attacks, aerial bombardments, and the dropping of explosive barrels, in documented incidents that have resulted in thousands of casualties since the outbreak of the war, without facing clear and consistent condemnation from regional and international parties.
The latest of these crimes is a series of violations and massacres that have claimed the lives of hundreds of civilians as a result of targeting markets and public places, where drones targeted the area of “Belbel Tembsko” in South Darfur on October 1, 2025, killing 83 people; the Al-Zurg area in North Darfur on October 2, 2025, killing 17 people; and the city of Al-Kuma in North Darfur on October 11, 2025, where army drones killed 20 civilians in the 139th attack on Al-Kuma since the outbreak of war on April 15, 2023; and other areas where the air force killed hundreds of civilians, despite the fact that these areas are not witnessing military confrontations and are free of the military presence of our forces.
Why is there no condemnation? Are these attacks not crimes? Why the bias?
We call on the international and regional community and human rights organizations to exercise restraint and impartiality and not to be swayed by false allegations aimed at misleading public opinion and obscuring the facts.
Our forces affirm their full commitment to the rules of engagement, which protect civilians and respect human rights, while upholding their legitimate right to self-defense.
We also call on international actors to adhere to the principle of impartiality and to be wary of rewarding the terrorist Islamic Movement and its affiliates and allowing them to carry out their disinformation campaigns and spread fabricated media reports.
We affirm that our forces will continue to pursue their legitimate goals of dismantling institutions of injustice, combating terrorism, and completing the project of building Sudan on the foundations of justice, equality, and good governance.
Mercy and forgiveness for our noble martyrs.
