Rhino: Agencies – Former Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok denied that the peace government, which was recently announced, is “separatist” or calls for the division of Sudan.
Speaking at a forum in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi, Hamdok said that resolving the crisis in Sudan requires a regionally and internationally monitored ceasefire and support for comprehensive internal dialogue.
Hamdok pointed out that separatists are a minority in northern and central Sudan with no influence on the Sudanese scene, describing the peace government as a government of unity and peace.
