Khartoum: Rhino – Legal expert Al-Maaz Hadra condemned on Saturday the decision of the head of the Sovereign Council in Port Sudan to reappoint Wahbi Muhammad Mukhtar, president of the Constitutional Court under ousted President Bashir, to the same position. The ousted Bashir had appointed Wahbi Muhammad Mukhtar as head of the Constitutional Court on November 11, 2014.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Hadra wrote: “Al-Burhan, without legal or constitutional basis, is recycling the waste of the unpatriotic conference that has long tampered with justice and the rule of law.”
