Rhino: Agencies – The Communist Party denounced the de facto authority’s continued detention of party member and member of the Sinja Resistance Committees “Ali Ammar” and his brother “Muawiya”, and their imprisonment in the cells of Sinja city, after they were kidnapped by the infamous security service, the Communist Party said in a statement on Wednesday.
The party said in a statement on Wednesday that Ali and his brother were kidnapped under the pretext that their brother “Aref Ammar” belongs to the Rapid Support Militia, adding that if there are any accusations, they should be made legally, not by kidnapping citizens from their homes.
The party explained that Khaled Amer Khaled al-Hussein, a member of the security service, was the one who kidnapped them, and threatened to kill them if their brother did not turn himself in, in a process of blackmail and using citizens as ransom to settle accounts.
The party held the security service member “Khaled Amer Khaled Al-Hussein” responsible for the physical and psychological safety of Ali Ammar and his brother, as this is a criminal and illegal act, emphasizing the need to initiate legal proceedings against the kidnapper.
The Communist Party pointed out that identical sources reported that “Ali Ammar” was subjected to daily torture with water and electric shock, which led to his memory impairment.
