Al-Hasahisa: Rhino – A child named “Mustafa” in the ranks of the Sudan Shield militia was subjected to gang rape by militia members inside the headquarters of the dissolved National Congress Party in the city of Al-Hasahisa, in Al-Jazirah state.

Sources in the city reported that members of the Sudan Shield militia had taken over the former headquarters of the dissolved party as their home and a place to drink alcohol, including child and adolescent recruits. This continued until the day when a child, one of the recruits belonging to the militia, was gang raped.

The perpetrators were arrested and detained at the Al-Hassahisa police station.

Sources pointed out that the incident clearly illustrates the danger of recruiting children to fight and leaving families to leave their minors among recruits and older soldiers, as well as revealing the truth behind the misleading rhetoric about the need to continue the war.
