Ancelotti mocks Atletico Madrid’s complaint

Rhino: Agencies – Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says he understands Atletico Madrid’s complaint about the two teams having two days less rest ahead of the derby, two days less for the Rojiblancos.
When asked on the eve of Sunday’s match at the Civitas Metropolitano in the eighth round of La Liga, Ancelotti spoke sarcastically about Atletico’s dissatisfaction with having two fewer days, saying: “Yes, I understand the complaint because the same thing has happened to us many times, mostly against Atlético itself. So I understand.”
Atletico Madrid played their last La Liga game on Thursday, while Real played on Tuesday, so Atleti have two fewer days of rest than their arch-neighbor.
“I think tomorrow will be an entertaining show, because there are high-level players in both teams, and they will use everything they have to put on a great show,” Ancelotti said.
“We are thinking about the game and preparing well for it, and then on a general level the judicial system is taking actions and decisions, especially last week,” he added, recalling the one-year prison sentence for a fan who hurled racist insults at Vinicius in Mallorca.

“It’s an issue we don’t have to worry about, we’re focused on something else and there are organizations dealing with this,” he said, referring to hate campaigns by some fans on social media.
