Khartoum: Rhino – Last night, the city of Omdurman witnessed a horrific incident when a public transport bus was subjected to an armed robbery attempt by individuals wearing military uniforms on Al-Imtidad Street in the Al-Thawra neighborhood west of Al-Harat, specifically at the Attia Bridge.

An eyewitness said that the gunmen stopped the bus at gunpoint and fired directly at the passengers after the driver refused to stop, killing a number of passengers, including children, and seriously injuring others.

The shooting caused the bus to overturn, killing most of those on board. The witness added that one of the survivors was shot in the head and suffered memory loss, and was later taken to Atbara Hospital for treatment.
