Sudanese Medical Association: Khartoum contaminated by chemical weapons and unfit for human habitation

Khartoum: Rhino – The Sudanese Doctors’ Union has confirmed that the Sudanese capital Khartoum and some other affected areas are uninhabitable in the foreseeable future after the Sudanese army used highly toxic chemical weapons there, warning that returning to Khartoum poses a serious threat to life.

In a statement, the union pointed out that the death rate in Khartoum is “very high,” but the actual numbers are not apparent “due to the misinformation spread by the war media,” with deadly diseases spreading due to chemical weapons. The union emphasized that rumors about the spread of cholera and skin bacteria are lies, which it described as systematic, and pointed out that such diseases do not usually spread in the summer, but rather in the fall.

The statement reads: “The diseases that occurred in the state of Khartoum are due to chemical weapons and no other cause. After conducting all investigations in cooperation with international and regional organizations, it became clear and evident that the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, is unfit for habitation until certain measures are taken to isolate and identify areas contaminated with chemical weapons.
