KHARTOUM – The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have announced a significant military victory in the Desert Front, asserting full control over the strategic Al-Raheb region following intense clashes with what the RSF describes as terrorist and mercenary forces.
According to an official statement released today, RSF units successfully repelled enemy elements and inflicted heavy losses in both personnel and equipment. The swift operations forced the opposing forces into retreat, with RSF troops now actively pursuing fleeing remnants across the desert landscape.
“Our brave fighters have taken control of key strategic positions in the Desert Front, bolstering our operational advantage ahead of upcoming missions,” the statement read. “These victories reaffirm the strength and discipline of our forces in their duty to protect the people of Sudan.”
The RSF accused opposing factions of harboring terrorist and mercenary agendas, emphasizing that the group remains committed to dismantling what it termed a “corrupt and racist gang” that has long oppressed the Sudanese people.
“We assure our people that we will not waver until complete victory is achieved, the last terrorist stronghold is dismantled, and Sudan is rebuilt on just and inclusive foundations,” the spokesperson added.
The RSF concluded its message by honoring its fallen fighters, stating: “Mercy and forgiveness to our righteous martyrs.”
