Rhino: The Canadian government imposed sanctions on seven individuals and three economic entities, which it said were linked to the ongoing conflict in Sudan.

The sanctions included army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Rapid Support Commander Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, Air Force Commander Tahir al-Amin, former heads of the General Intelligence Service Salah Gosh and Mohamed Atta, as well as the leaders of the Rapid Support in Darfur, al-Tijani Karshom and Amir Masar Asil.

The sanctions included an asset freeze and a ban on dealing with the properties of those included in the decision.

The decision also included three economic entities linked to the military and the RSF, due to their alleged involvement in the ongoing violence against civilians in Sudan, including Sudan Master Technology, which is part of the armed forces’ financing and procurement network, Tradiv General Trading, which is a front for the RSF, and a commercial bank, according to the Canadian government.
